Elson Brechtefeld
Elson Viney-Bartel Brechtefeld (born March 2, 1994 ) is a weightlifter from Nauru .
In 2011 he was third in the weight class up to 56 kilograms at the Pacific Games. He won a bronze medal in the 69 kg category at the Pacific Mini Games in 2013 . The following year he started in the weight class up to 62 kg and was 13th at the Commonwealth Games . In 2015 he received the silver medal at the Pacific Games. In 2016 he took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the category up to 56 kg and came in 15th. At the opening ceremony he was the flag bearer of his team. In 2019 he won the Pacific Games in the weight class up to 55 kg.
