Elvi Lissiak (aka Elvira Lissiak ; born July 19, 1929 in Trieste , † February 25, 1996 in Grabagnate Milanese ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Lissiak's career in Italian film was not particularly long and included two phases in which she played roles: from 1950 to 1953 and from 1960 to 1962.

Until her discovery by Luciano Emmer , she worked as a ballet dancer in revues; her first role in A Sunday in August was very well received by the critics. Then she played a few roles at the side of Vittorio Gassman , with whom she also had a private relationship for some time. She left Cinecittà in 1953 and, apart from a brief return at the beginning of the 1960s, devoted herself exclusively to theater work, disappointed about the consistently similar role offers and due to her marriage to fellow actor Franco Castellani .

She also played under the name variant Elvy Lissiak .
