Elvin Beqiri (born September 27, 1980 in Shkodra ) is an Albanian football player .
His youth club was the home club KS Vllaznia Shkodra until he moved to Metalurh Donetsk in 2004 in the Ukrainian league . In the 2005/06 season he was signed for 1,500,000 euros by the Israeli club Maccabi Haifa . Today he is under contract with the Russian first division club Alania Wladikawkas . For the Albanian national soccer team he has had 20 appearances so far; He made his international debut in March 2004 against Switzerland. His playing position is central defense.
