Swetoslaw Todorow ( Bulgarian Светослав Тодоров ; born August 30, 1978 in Dobrich ) is a former Bulgarian football player . He played a total of 196 games in the Bulgarian A Grupa , the English Premier League and the Ukrainian Premjer-Liha . With Litex Lovech he won the Bulgarian championship in 1998, 1999, 2010 and 2011.

Career

Todorov's first club was his home club Dobruja Dobrich. In 1997 he moved to the Bulgarian club PFK Litex Lovech , where he was under contract until 2001. In 2001 he moved to England to West Ham United , in 2002 he moved on to Portsmouth FC . In 2006, the offensive player played on loan at Wigan Athletic before he was signed by Charlton Athletic for two years a year later . Since 2009 Todorow played back home and earned his bread at Litex Lovetsch . There he was able to win two more titles with the championships in 2009/10 and 2010/11 . In summer 2012 he moved to FC Hoverla-Zakarpattya Uzhhorod in Ukraine. He ended his career there in 2013.

Todorov has played 42 times for the Bulgarian national soccer team .
