Ely Dagher
Ely Dagher (born November 25, 1985 in Beirut , Lebanon ) is a Lebanese film director and film producer .
Life
Dagher studied graphics and illustration as well as animation techniques in 2D and 3D at the Académie libanaise des beaux-arts in Beirut . He then completed a master's degree in art theory and new media at Goldsmiths in London .
Daghers first film Beirut was built in 2007. His second film, the animated film Waves '98 (Arabic: Moug '98 ), won in 2015 at the Film Festival in Cannes , a Golden Palm for Best Short Film . This film was also funded with funds from Qatar .
