Emanuela Giordano

Emanuela Giordano (born July 2, 1957 in Rome ) is an Italian actress , playwright and theater and film director .

Life

Giordano attended the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica , courses at the University of Rome and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia . After acting on television, on stage (such as in Una serata irresistibile by Giuseppe Manfridi ) and small roles in films and dubbing, she became known primarily as a playwright and stage director. She staged her own pieces such as “Cyrana”, “Roma città prigioniera”, “Madri e figli” and “Le ragazze del ponte” in the city of her birth; In addition, there are also some foreign authors with partly controversial topics such as “Gli zero del mondo” or the “ Vagina monologues ”.

After making short and documentary films , she made a feature film for the big screen for the first time in 1998. The black-humored and surreal “Due volte nella vita” was the first digitally recorded Italian film. In 2007 a contribution to the episode film “La maschera d'acqua” followed.
