Emecho II of Cochem (* 1336 in Cochem ; † May 5, 1401 in Brauweiler / Pulheim ) was a German Benedictine monk and abbot in Brauweiler.

life and career

In the Brauweiler Abbey he worked as a Benedictine monk from December 8, 1365 and as a waiter from November 14, 1371 to September 5, 1382, then received the parish church in Enkirch, stayed here for a few years, and resigned from December 10, 1385 as prior again in Brauweiler and is attested again as prior on June 25, 1398. In 1400 he is said to have been unanimously elected abbot. He led the Brauweiler monastery as abbot from 1400 to 1401.
