Emil Walter-Busch

Emil Walter-Busch (born September 30, 1942 in Zurich ) is a Swiss sociologist .

Life

Emil Walter-Busch was born as the son of the sociologist Emil J. Walter . He studied sociology, philosophy and history at the Universities of Zurich , Tübingen , Berlin and Frankfurt am Main , receiving his doctorate in 1969 under Theodor W. Adorno and Jürgen Habermas in Frankfurt am Main. From 1974 he was a private lecturer in social psychology at the University of Zurich . From 1977 Walter-Busch was a permanent lecturer and adjunct professor for social psychology and applied social research at the University of St. Gallen . From 1989 to 1999 he was visiting lecturer at the University of Basel . From 1983 to 1992 and from 2000, Walter-Busch was a member of the management team and director at the Research Institute for Labor and Labor Law at the University of St. Gallen. Walter-Busch retired in October 2007.
