Emilie Müller (born November 15, 1831 in Berlin ; † June 10, 1854 ) was a German theater actress .

Life

Müller, the daughter of the actor Adolf Karl Müller , after she had educated herself in every respect and pursued her private studies with rare zeal, she decided to use the treasure of her knowledge, the sharpness of her thinking and the firmness of her will on stage and became an actress.

She began her self-chosen profession as "Flora" in the comedy "Der Strauss" at the Lätitia society theater.

After she had tried herself at the Urania Society Theater until December 1849, she was granted an audition on the royal court stage. The same resulted in a three-month stint.

In the same year she started her engagement in Darmstadt. In 1850 she was able to answer a call to Weimar, but only stayed there for a year.

She found great employment and due appreciation of her talent in Stettin in 1851. Her reputation spread so quickly that she even received an application from Heinrich Laube to the Hofburgtheater . But she did not feel that she was artistically ready for such an award and preferred to stay in Szczecin for at least two years.

This shouldn't happen either. Her health began to falter and she was forced to cancel her contract. She took the stage for the last time on February 27, 1854. She returned home and, despite the loving care, passed away on June 10, 1854.
