Emine Bahar is a Turkish-Kurdish German musician. Her music mainly contains elements from pop , soul and R'n'B .

biography

Emine Bahar is the only daughter of a Turkish mother and a Kurdish father. When she was six months old, her parents moved her to the Swedish capital, Stockholm . There she sang hits from that time at a young age. After finishing school, she moved to Berlin. She first worked there in night clubs at the bar and even then sometimes sang in front of an audience. Emine Bahar was looking for a recording opportunity and for this reason even took part in a rap competition. Bahar met the DJ Afrika Bambaataa through their organizer . So in 2008 the song Hot was created . In the same year Emine Bahar also recorded several songs for the sampler Germany's Forgotten Children . It is represented there a total of five times. For example, she contributed the song God . This song was then the first single from the EP Emine Bahar , which was finally released on May 1, 2009. Emine Bahar repeatedly worked with German rappers. She was featured on songs by D-Bo , Chakuza or MC Bogy .
