Emma Fattorini (* 1952 in Cervia ) is an Italian historian.

Fattorini is professor of contemporary history at the “La Sapienza” University in Rome. In Germany she was best known for her book Pio XI, Hitler e Mussolini . She also writes articles for Italian daily newspapers such as Il Sole 24 Ore . She was one of the first researchers to evaluate the Munich nunciature reports by Eugenio Pacelli . In 2006 she gave a lecture in Münster at the symposium on the 60th anniversary of the death of Clemens August Cardinal von Galen , which was the only foreign-language contribution to be included in the anthology Clemens August von Galen: A Church Prince in National Socialism .
