Emma Landseer , married Emma Mackenzie , also Emma McKenzie (* 1809 in London , † 1895 ) was a British painter.

Emma Landseer came from a family of artists. Her father was the painter and engraver John Landseer (1769–1852), her siblings Thomas (1793–1880), Charles (1799–1879), Edwin (1802–1873) and Jessica (1810–1880) were also painters and engravers .

She worked as an animal and landscape painter in London , and later also in Brighton . Together with her sister Jessica she ran the household for her brother Edwin and inherited him as the last survivor of the siblings.

Between 1840 and 1866 Emma Landseer exhibited her works at the Royal Academy and the British Institution , first under her maiden name and later under her married name. As a married Mackenzie, Emma also liked to sign “EL”, to the annoyance of her brother Edwin, whose works, including dog pictures, she copied.
