EmsFestival

The EmsFestival is an open-air festival that has been taking place in Rheine over several days since 1998 . The organizer is the city of Rheine, which generally commissions the Rheine tourist office with the planning and implementation. The artists appear on a floating stage on the Ems . The opposite bank of the Ems is designed as a visitor stand.

In addition to various local groups, party bands and well-known cover bands such as the Rex Richter Quintet or ABBA Review can be seen at the Emsfestival . In addition, nationally known stars also appear. In 2007 singer LaFee appeared as a star guest. In 2009 Jule Neigel appeared at the opening of the festival and the radio broadcaster WDR 4 presented a hit party. a. with Jürgen Drews , Mary Roos , Nicki and Peter Rubin .

Over 20,000 visitors came to the Ems Festival 2009.
