Enchō

Enchō ( Japanese 延長 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from May 923 to May 931 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Engi , the following era is called Jōhei . The era falls during the reign of the emperors ( Tennō ) Daigo and Suzaku .

The first day of the Encho era corresponds to May 29, 923, the last day was May 15, 931. The Encho era lasted nine years or 2909 days.
