The energy alliance Austria GmbH (proper spelling: ENERGIEALLIANZ Austria GmbH) is an Austrian Energievertriebs- and trading companies. It was created in 2001 in the course of the liberalization of the energy supply from the sales activities of the Eastern Austrian state energy suppliers EVN , Wien Energie and Energie Burgenland . The EAA sells electricity and natural gas in Austria and Germany.

Corporate structure and function

EAA is owned by EVN (45%), Wien Energie (45%) and Energie Burgenland (10%). The EAA is the complementary partner of three energy distribution KGs which supply customers with electricity and gas in the traditional distribution networks of the three owners:

  • EVN Energievertrieb GmbH & Co KG
  • Wien Energie Vertrieb GmbH & Co KG
  • Energie Burgenland Vertrieb GmbH & Co KG
