Energy balance
The term energy balance , also in processes: energy balance ; as an aspect of energy supply: energy demand , is used in the following contexts:
- Bioenergetics (biology) : here the totality of the energy balance of a cell or an organism
- Energy requirement calculation: in civil engineering, the energy consumption of a building according to Directive 2002/91 / EG EPBD
- Energy balance (energy industry) : Evidence and analysis of the occurrence, conversion and use of energy sources within an economic area
- Energy balance (nutrition) : the consumption of nutrients, especially in humans
- Energy balance (ecology) : Balance of the continuous energy conversions of organisms, populations and communities
- Energy balance (construction) : the sum of the energy consumed in the construction of a building, from the production of raw materials to the finished component
- Energy balance (environment) : Balance of the expenditure of primary energy in relation to useful energy
- Conservation of energy law : in physics generally the sums of energies
- Energy consumption : in the economy the need for energy as a production factor
- Global energy balance : sums of energy in the earth system
- Basal metabolic rate : the consumption of energy by living things, metabolic rate
- Process energy: in technology, the energy supply to maintain a process and the energy gain
