Energy electronics technician was a state-recognized apprenticeship from 1987 to 2003 . The training was completed after three and a half years with a theoretical and practical test at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry . This profession was replaced by an ordinance of July 3, 2003 ( Federal Law Gazette I p. 1144 ) from other industrial electrical professions, especially through the training for

  • Assembling, wiring of control technology assemblies
  • Preparing and completing assembly work
  • Assembly and installation of signaling and lighting systems as well as electrical machines and control devices
  • Commissioning of plants
  • Maintenance of power engineering systems
