Emergence

The profession was newly created in the course of the reorganization of the industrial electrical professions in 2003. In 2007 there was a slight revision in which, among other things, the examination times were modified.

Duration of training and structure

The training period to become an electronics technician for building and infrastructure systems is usually three and a half years. The training takes place at the training company and vocational school .
