The energy networks Offenbach GmbH (ENO) operates the electricity, natural gas, water and district heating distribution network in city and district of Offenbach and in parts of the Main-Kinzig district. ENO is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energieversorgung Offenbach AG (EVO) .

history

In 2006 the two companies Energieversorgung Offenbach AG and Mannheimer MVV Energie AG merged to form the joint network company "Netrion".

The subsidiary “Netrion Gasnetz Offenbach GmbH” emerged from the network company Netrion in 2013.

Due to legal requirements of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) , which stipulates the separation of network and sales at energy supply companies, the company was spun off from Energieversorgung Offenbach AG on June 1, 2016.

On June 22, 2016 the company was renamed Energiesetze Offenbach GmbH .
