Energochemica is a Czech holding company based in Prague, Czech Republic , which owns and manages several Slovak chemical and energy companies. The group includes Fortischem , Novácka Energetika, PTCHEM and Light Stabilizers in Nováky and Chemko in Strážske . The location in Nováky goes back to Novácké chemické závody , which was founded in the 1940s.
Products
Energochemica makes inorganic chemicals such as calcium carbide and sodium hydroxide . A large number of substances are also produced on the basis of chlor-alkali electrolysis . These include chlorinated paraffins , 2-chloroethanol , 1,2-dichloroethane , vinyl chloride monomer and polyvinyl chloride . Also includes diethanolisopropanolamine (DEIPA), bis (2-chloroethoxy) methane (Novamal) and PVC stabilizers to the products.
