Engelbert August von Weichs zu Sarstedt (* around 1755 ; † 1815 ) was canon in Hildesheim , Münster and Paderborn .

Life

Engelbert August von Weichs zu Sarstedt was born as the son of Adolf von Weichs zu Sarstedt and his wife Antonia von Schorlemer. On 3 August 1773 he was appointed canon of Hildesheim been sworn in and in 1787 he came into possession of Münster Dompräbende as Moritz von Brabeck his benefice avoided had. He was roused here on October 8th of the following year. Engelbert August was cathedral dean in Hildesheim from 1792 and was ordained a priest during this time. In 1796 he also received a cathedral canonical in Paderborn .
