The Engineer Range is a mountain range in the west of the Australian state of Tasmania . It is located southeast of Lake Burbury in the northwest corner of Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park .

The mountain range extends east of the West Coast Range and south of Mount Fincham in a northwest-southeast direction and is bounded by the valleys of the Andrew River (in the southwest) and the Franklin River (in the northeast). The nearest available walking path with viewpoints is the former, of Hydro Tasmania scale Mount McCall track .

The lower slopes of the mountain range on the banks of the bordering rivers were once the workplaces of West Coast piners . There they looked for the Huon holm oaks ( Lagarostrobos franklinii ).
