The Enigma Rocks ( English for Enigmatic Rocks ) are a group of Nunatakkern in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They rise north-west of the Symes Nunatak near the middle of the Evans firn field .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them after their enigmatic geological structure, which does not reveal that it is a geological unit.
