The Enkei Corporation ( Japaneseエ ン ケ イ 株式会社, Enkei Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycle and passenger car rims, both for motorsport and road vehicles. Enkei supplies OEM rims to Honda , Mazda , Mitsubishi , Nissan , Subaru and Yamaha in Japan and General Motors in the USA.
Engagement in motorsport
Enkei is involved in various racing series, including both the Japanese Super GT and D1 series and Formula 1 . Enkei has been a partner of the McLaren F1 Team since 1995 and provides special magnesium rims for this purpose. Enkei is also a partner of several rally teams.
