Enrique Cadícamo
Enrique Cadícamo (born July 15, 1900 in Luján , Buenos Aires Province , † December 3, 1999 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine composer and writer.
Cadícamo became famous for his tango texts, which were interpreted and performed by singers such as Libertad Lamarque , Agustín Magaldi , Julio Sosa , Mercedes Sosa and others. For some of his publications Cadícamo used the pseudonyms "Rosendo Luna" or "Yino Luzzi".
Cadícamo made several trips to the USA , France and Spain and thus enormously promoted the spread of the real tango .
Cadícamo died of heart failure on December 3, 1999 at the age of 99 in Buenos Aires, where he found his final resting place.
