The ensemble Gravelottestrasse , also called Bremer Sanssouci , in Bremen - Schwachhausen , district Gete is a listed building .

history

The ensemble Gravelottestraße 87 to 105 is a two-storey group of residential buildings that was built from 1924 to 1926 according to plans by the Bremen architect Carl Krahn. The ten red brick clinker houses in the conservative style of the 1920s, with pitched and hipped roofs and a basement floor , face the street, with one exception of a semi-detached house. The houses take up the tradition of the Bremen houses .

Today (2014) the buildings are used for residential purposes and also by service providers.

In the traditional style, Krahn also produced u. a. the Bremer Logenhaus , the Villa Unter den Eichen 12 and the apartment building Seidl-Strasse / corner of Georg-Gröning-Strasse .

Monument protection

In 1979, the buildings were listed as a cultural monument in Bremen .
