Enser was a German manufacturer of light road tractors who built tractors based on Hanomag models from 1958 to 1971 .

After Hanomag had given up the production of tractor units in 1950, it turned out that there was still a certain demand in the light tractor segment. August Enser, who had a Hanomag agency in Fürth , Bavaria, started offering modified Hanomag trucks from 1958, which were technically adapted to the requirements of towing and shunting vehicles. Until 1960 the small hooded wagon of the type Hanomag L 28 served as the basis , from 1960 to 1967 the forward control Hanomag Kurier and from 1967 the subsequent Hanomag F-series .

The tensile loads were initially up to 20 tons. The vehicles were used for the inner-city transport of trailers and as shunting vehicles, preferably on narrow company premises. In addition to commercial operations, the Deutsche Bundespost was an important buyer of these vehicles. When demand declined, the Enser tractors were abandoned in 1971.
