description

On the epitaph for Johann Cothmann († 1604), free-standing fluted columns under cranked beams bear the gable top with a name of the bearer and a death note in a field bordered by a curved band. The high rectangular main panel in the middle with grave evidence and praise for the dead is missing a rectangular piece in the upper left. The main panel is framed by scrollwork cheeks each with two coats of arms arranged one below the other .
