The Equinet Bank AG is a former investment bank headquartered in Frankfurt am Main . In the areas of markets and corporate finance, the company looked after institutional customers, small and mid-caps as well as medium-sized companies and their shareholders. Since 2005 equinet Bank AG has been the exclusive partner of the "European Securities Network LLP" (ESN), a network of European investment banks. From 2009 the institute had a full banking license. The institute has been in liquidation since July 31, 2019.
Business areas
- In the corporate finance area, equinet structured and implemented initial public offerings, capital increases, placements, bond issues and promissory note loans as well as mergers & acquisitions.
- In the markets area, the bank and its sales and research team advised institutional clients with a focus on small and mid-cap stocks. Together with the ESN partners, the research coverage comprised over 600 German and European genres. In addition, equinet worked as a designated sponsor for around sixty companies and, as a specialist at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, looked after around 450 stocks in equity trading and around 2,400 bond classes in euros and foreign currencies.
