Erdős Prize
The Anna and Lajos Erdős Prize for Mathematics is an Israeli prize for mathematics and computer science , which was founded in 1977 by Paul Erdős in honor of his parents (until 1996 it was simply called the Erdős Prize ). It is awarded annually or every two years to Israeli mathematicians and computer scientists (regardless of their research area) with preference for mathematicians under 40 years of age.
It should not be confused with the Hungarian Paul Erdős Prize .
