The earth stable of Plancaille ( French le Souterrain de Plancaille ) discovered in 1993 is a medieval earth stable from the 13th century. It is located in a hillside in Revel in the Haute-Garonne in the region Occitan in southern France .

The approximately 14.0 m long basement , carved out of the reddish-white sandstone subsoil, runs straight, only to bend at about 45 ° shortly before the eastern end. The western end could not be determined because of a fall. Here is a composition of four plates, 60 cm above ground level, on which charcoal and artefacts were found. The floor is 2.5 m below the vertical entrance, which is also the original.

Finds

About 50 shards of gray and black medieval pottery, money, handles of various pots, an iron ax, a knife with a sheath and a nail were found. The animal bones come from pigs.
