Another reference to the already desolate place is the following document: The Hufe Land in the corridor to the desolate village of Erfis winds (Erschringen) on the Seeberger Steingraben, which the council had bought from Hermann von Seebergen, went to the Ilmen monastery as a fief ... Why and why the village fell into desolation was not clear from the documents.
