The Erfurt Tennis Club Rot-Weiß is a tennis club from the Thuringian capital Erfurt , which was founded in 1903.
In 2003 the club rose to the 2nd Bundesliga. There the Erfurt won all eight games in 2005 and rose to the top of the table in the tennis Bundesliga . With 10: 8 points, the club finished fourth in its first season in 2006, and in 2007 they won the runner-up title. In 2011 they finished third in the Bundesliga with top player Xavier Malisse .
In 2015 the club withdrew completely from the Bundesliga.
