Eric Otto Woldemar Ehrström (born February 5, 1881 in Helsinki ; † October 11, 1934 there ) was a Finnish enamel painter and metal driver.

Life

Eric OW Ehrström studied with Akseli Gallen-Kallela and in Paris . Enamel paintings and paintings by him are in the collection of the Ateneum in Helsinki. In addition to his enamel paintings, he created jewelry, furniture fittings and everyday objects made of silver, copper and bronze as well as wrought iron. Ehrström was also active as a heraldist and designed coats of arms.

Ehrström was married to the painter Olga Elisabeth Ehrström-Gummerus (1876–1934), daughter of Herman Erik Gummerus and Olga Gummerus. The diplomat Herman Gummerus was her younger brother.
