Erich Frantz
Erich Frantz (born July 19, 1842 in Liegnitz , † December 27, 1903 in Pasing ) was a German Catholic theologian .
Life
He was a painter first. In 1871 he was ordained a priest in Breslau. In 1879 he acquired the Dr. theol. and in 1887 became honorary professor for Christian archeology and art history in Münster. In 1888 he moved to Breslau in the same capacity. In 1899 he was given leave of absence due to illness. He was buried in Liegnitz.
