Life

Jedelsky was an advocate of progressive aerodynamics and co-founder of the “Vienna School”. His main concern was the development of wing profiles with the lowest possible sink rate. The bird's wings in nature were a model and so the Jedelsky profiles were created , which were also tested in the wind tunnel . He developed the Jedelsky full balsa design named after him .

Jedelsky constructed a number of flight models , such as the woodpecker, lapwing, sparrowhawk, typhoon, stork, goblin, consecration, meadow sneak, airfish, which is still used today for training beginners. His model building templates in the format 50 × 70 cm were published by Verlag Sperl, Vienna in the early 1950s.
