Erich Koch (soccer player)
Erich Koch (nickname Fifi ; * November 7, 1907 , † unknown) was a German soccer player and soccer coach .
Life
The right half-forward came to VfB Stuttgart from Breslau in 1926 . With the VfB he was several times Württemberg champion. In 1935 , Koch became German runner-up as captain of VfB Stuttgart when he scored a goal in the final against FC Schalke 04 . Koch played for the Württemberg and southern German national teams. In 1947 Koch ended his active career after 21 years at VfB Stuttgart. He then became a trainer at SpVgg Fürth and later worked as a trainer in Untertürkheim and Balingen.
