Erich Metzenthin

Erich Metzenthin (born August 3, 1883 in Brandenburg an der Havel , † after 1932) was a German police officer and politician ( DVP ).

Life

After graduating from high school, Metzenthin attended the naval school and took additional courses. He finished his officer career in the Navy in January 1920 as a corvette captain . He had already entered the service of the Reich Office of the Interior as a civil servant on October 1, 1919 . From 1920 he was district manager at the Reich water protection in Breslau .

In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the German People's Party (DVP) in the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 7 (Breslau).
