Erich Zander (born April 11, 1905 in Berlin ; † unknown) was a German hockey player .
During his career, Zander took part in the Olympic Games twice and won a medal each time. At the Olympic hockey competitions in Amsterdam he played in all four games and after two wins in three games in the preliminary round, he moved into the bronze medal with the German team. Since Belgium was defeated 3-0 there, Germany won the bronze medal.
Eight years later, Zander was again an Olympic participant in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin . After two wins, in the preliminary round 4-1 against Afghanistan and in the semi-finals 3-0 against the Netherlands, they made it to the finals. Here the German team was clearly defeated by the Indian team with 1: 8. Nevertheless, Zander achieved his second Olympic success with the silver medal.
In total, Zander played 33 international matches for the German national team. He played for Berliner SV 92 in both 1928 and 1936 .
