Erik Axl Sund is the pseudonym of a Swedish novelist duo consisting of Jerker Eriksson and Håkan Axlander Sundquist .

According to their own information, Jerker Eriksson and Håkan Axlander Sundquist write together on the novels after they have agreed on a story. The individual chapters are exchanged and then supplemented, corrected and rewritten by the other.

Victoria Bergman Trilogy

Under the name Erik Axl Sund, the two authors published the Victoria Bergman trilogy from 2010 to 2012 , consisting of the books Kråkflickan (Crow Girl) , Hungerelden (Scar Child) and Pythians anvisningar (Shadow Scream ) . In 2012 they were awarded the Swedish Crime Academy Specialpris for this crime series .

The books have been translated internationally and also became bestsellers in Germany, where they were published by Goldmann Verlag every few months in 2014 . Immediately after its publication, the German translation of the first volume, Krähenmädchen , made it into the top 10 of the Spiegel's bestseller list in the paperback / fiction category and rose to number 2 on August 11, 2014, where it remained for several weeks. Scars child climbed on Sept. 29, 2014, even after a few weeks on the status of one of the list and SchattenSchrei rose on 24 November 2014 after the appearance on the top position. All three volumes remained in the top 10 of the list for several weeks. The Victoria Bergman Trilogy is also available as an audio book.

Melancholy / Kronoberg trilogy

In 2014, the first part of their new trilogy, the Melancholy Trilogy (also known as the Kronoberg Trilogy), entitled Glaskroppar , was published in Sweden . On September 8, 2015, the book was published under the German title Scherbenseele in a translation by Nike Karen Müller, also by Goldmann Verlag. In 2019 the second part of the trilogy appeared with Gra Melankoli , the German translation was published in 2020 under the title Puppentod .
