The Erika-Fuchs-Haus - Museum for Comic and Language Art in Schwarzenbach an der Saale pays tribute to the work of Erika Fuchs , who was the translator and editor-in-chief of Micky-Mouse magazine from 1951 to 1988. Erika Fuchs spent a large part of her life in Schwarzenbach.

The architect of the building is Dominik Burkard from Karlsruhe. The city of Schwarzenbach ad Saale is responsible for the museum. The opening took place on August 1st, 2015.

In the first five years around 70,000 people visited the various exhibitions.
