Church of the Redeemer

Raised in the west of the city, the church of the Melk and Scheibbs parish, founded in 1956, was built from 1956 to 1959 according to the plans of the architects Fritz Rollwagen and Rudolf Pamlitschek. The rectangular building under an asymmetrical gable roof and a segmented arch barrel hanging beneath it as wooden cladding carries a roof turret . The ornamental glass painting , the furnishings and a crucifix as a glass mosaic are by the artist Franz Déed from the construction period. In 1986 a bell from the parish church was transferred here.

The pastor's house was built before the church between 1951 and 1953 and is connected to the church at right angles.
