The Steinau an der Strasse adventure park is a leisure park near Steinau an der Strasse in the Spessart Nature Park . On an area of approx. 250,000 m², including a parking lot and animal paddocks, there are around 50 rides and play and fun equipment.

Agricultural Museum

The former zoo and botany park with exotic animals was originally built on an old estate. The Zwermann family bought it and traced it back to its traditional roots. The special significance of the donkey results from the historical donkey path located by the park, it once served as a trade connection between the Fulda area and the Main. The fairy tale chairs in the “Snow White Restaurant” - designed by a Steinau painter - are a reminder of the work of the Brothers Grimm in the town of Steinau on the German Fairy Tale Route .

The main attractions include the “Spessart-Flitzer” summer toboggan run and the petting zoo with local animals, the largest privately run agricultural museum in Hesse with insights into the way of life and work on a farm. On weekends and during the Hessian holiday periods, visitors up to the age of 12 can ride one of the ponies or donkeys.

In addition to the various dining facilities in the park, visitors can also use one of the picnic or barbecue areas to consume the food they have brought with them. The barbecue areas and barbecue huts can be reserved by telephone.
