Erlend Larsen

Erlend Larsen (born October 13, 1965 in Stokke ) is a Norwegian pilot , author and politician of the conservative Høyre party . He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2017 .
Life
From 1985 to 1988 Larsen trained as a pilot, after which he worked as a pilot, from 1994 for the airline Widerøe . He also worked part-time from 1984 and full-time for several years in the Norwegian military . From 2003 to 2016, Larsen was a member of Stokke's municipal parliament , and from 2011 he was the mayor of the municipality. Between 1993 and 2018 he wrote nine books on various subjects, including flying and his homeland Vestfold .
Larsen entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time in the 2017 general election . There he represents the constituency of Vestfold and he became a member of the Health and Welfare Committee.
