Erna Murray (* 1898; † unknown) was a German swimmer . It started for BSSC Germania 1887 Berlin and Poseidon Leipzig .

  • 100 m chest:
    • 1: 36.0 min. (August 26, 1916 in Berlin)
    • 1: 35.0 min. (August 25, 1917)
    • 1: 33.2 min. (August 17, 1919)
    • 1: 20.3 min. (April 5, 1925). This time was only set in 1958 by the GDR swimmer Karin Beyer .
  • 200 m chest
    • 3: 20.2 minutes (April 5, 1925 in Leipzig). This time was improved the following year by the Swede Brita Hazelius to 3: 19.1 minutes.

Erna Murray did not have the opportunity to participate in international competitions. Due to Germany's role in the First World War, no German athletes were invited to the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 and in Paris in 1924 , and only men's competitions were on the program at the first European Swimming Championships , which were held in Budapest in 1926 .
