Philipp Rauschert

Georg Philipp Rauschert (born May 26, 1801 in Alzey ; † unknown) was a Hessian economist and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Philipp Rauschert was the son of the trader Philipp Rauschert († 1829) and his wife Christina nee Steinkopf. He married Elisabetha (Lisette) nee Horix. His brother-in-law, Philipp Wilhelm Preetorius (1791–1863) was a leather manufacturer and also a member of parliament. Rauschert lived as an economist on the Münchbischheimer Hof.

In 1834 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 6 / Stadt Worms . He took liberal positions.
