Jacob Millet

Jakob (Jacques) Millet (born August 20, 1799 in Paris , † November 26, 1860 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian state procurator and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Jakob Millet was the son of the businessman Jacques Louis Pierre Millet and his wife Elise, nee Edelin. Millet, who was a Catholic, married Agnesia Susanne nee Eisenberg (1809–1875) in 1828. From 1836 to 1859 he was state procurator at the district court of Alzey .

From 1856 to 1859 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Worms .
