Certificate of Appointment
The certificate of appointment documents the administrative act of the civil service appointment .
The civil servant receives such a certificate from his employer upon appointment to the civil servant relationship, in the event of a change in status , a transfer to another employer or a promotion . For members of the federal government , the German Federal Ministers Act stipulates that their dismissal will take effect when a relevant document is issued, which can, however, be replaced by official publication. The same applies to judges , the Defense Commissioner of the German Bundestag , the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information and the Federal Commissioner for the Records of the State Security Service of the former German Democratic Republic .
