Ernst-Albert Holzapfel

Ernst-Albert Holzapfel (born April 10, 1936 - † June 23, 2015 ) was a German entrepreneur and association official.

Career

Holzapfel was the owner of the home textiles and equestrian goods manufacturer Friedola in Frieda (Northern Hesse).

From 1991 to 2007 he was President of the Federal Association of the German Sporting Goods Industry . He was also Vice President of the European Sporting Goods Industry.

He was a sponsor of equestrian sport and was a member of the executive committee of the German Equestrian Association and chairman of the country commission.
