Ernst Buchholz (tennis player)
Ernst Buchholz (born June 19, 1920 in Cologne ; † August 3, 1993 ibid) was a German tennis player .
Buchholz won eighteen German championship titles in singles and doubles, he played 21 times for Germany in the Davis Cup , five times in the Kings Cup (European team competition in tennis, 1936–1985) and reached the quarter-finals in 1953 together with Gottfried von Cramm Doubles of the Lawn Tennis Championships at Wimbledon .
His grave is located in Cologne's southern cemetery (hall 2 no. 68/69).
